do I logon to my on-line library account?
To logon to your on-line library
account click on the "Here" in the border above. When you are
asked for a User ID type in the 14-digit number listed on your library card
below your signature (24658000004009). On the line for pin number type in
the four digit number you were given when you received your library card.

What
services are available to me with my on-line library account?
You can check your personal account
to see what materials you have checked out and when they are due. You can
renew materials. In addition you can search the library holdings for
books, magazines, videos, and other resources. You can place holds on
those materials that you would like to check out (if the items are currently
checked out). The library will contact you when the items become
available.
How
can I help support the Howard County Public Library?
You can help support the library by
joining the Friends of the Library, an organization which supports the library
through gifts of money, resources and time. Click on the "Friends of
the Library" link in the left margin for more information. Ask one of
the librarians for more information on how to join.

You can contact the Howard County
Public Library by calling 660-248-3348 during regular business hours (12 noon -
6 pm Tuesday to Friday and 9 am to noon on Saturday) or by sending an e-mail
